Inside

The selected stage, on the boards and on the panelThe audio path, moving while sound runsControl voltages: contours and the keyboard gateA monophonic synthesizer modelled on the Moog Minimoog Model D (1970), at its real size (727 × 435 mm, 146 mm high with the panel down). As on the original, the electronics are in an aluminium enclosure on the back of the control panel, which tilts on a piano hinge and is held up by a bracket; the four single-sided boards stand off the chassis between the controls and plug into edge connectors. Opened from the front, as on the TB-303 page, the panel lifts off and the boards are shown turned to face you: the oscillator board at the left with the contour board above it, the filter board, the power supply and noise board, and the rectifier board at the right; from the back the enclosure stays closed under its connector panel. The controls, their order and their ranges follow the 1971 operation manual; component placement on the boards, the transformer's position and the VCA's board are approximate. The sound, scope and readout come from one small model of the signal chain running in the page; the phrase player and the idea generator are not on the original.
